As well as performing with ROADWAY and other acts from time to time, Ross has had the pleasure of working with former RAINBOW vocalist Doogie White.
Doogie, is undoubtedly one of the most talented and capable rock vocalists on the planet today. He currently records and tours as vocalist for the band TANK, occassionally works with former DEEP PURPLE member Jon Lord and solo tours consisting of different band line ups in various countries around the world.

"I first worked with Doogie on the track "This Is Why" off the debut ROADWAY CD in 2009 which he sang for us. It still stands as one of my proudest musical accomplishments. In 2010, myself and some musicians I was working with were presented with the opportunity to perform with Doogie as members of his solo band for a few shows in Scotland. Playing on stage with Doogie is simply an awesome experience, he has woked with some of the very best and it shows through his performance. A constant professional and an ever capable vocalist and songwriter, his material from his post and pre RAINBOW projects as well as of course the album he did with RAINBOW are some of the most challenging and brilliant material I've ever had to learn/perform." - Ross McEwen

After Rainbow disbanded Doogie went on to record on several different projects, one of which was the band "Cornerstone", said to be his best material to date Cornerstone released several brilliant studios albums as well as a live album in 2005. Doogie is also known for his 2 album and several world tour stint with guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen, Doogie sang on the Yngwie albums "Attack" and "Unleash The Fury".
